Customer Service Assistant

We are looking for a forward thinking and passionate customer service person, to join and support our small but fast-growing company in North Ferriby.

The purpose of the role is to provide an outstanding level of customer service and ensure that the customer's experience with the business is always to the highest standard.

The successful candidate will be dealing with a wide variety of customers and it is imperative that each and every one receives the most professional of services.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Progress customer orders and requests to ensure on-time delivery, orders are submitted by telephone, email or in person. This will require communicating daily with customers about their orders, including any delays or changes in delivery.
• To be able to create a rapport with customers and aim to ensure customer's overall satisfaction and success
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints quickly and patiently, including assistance of customers who may have received their orders late, have received the wrong order or have received faulty products.
• Ensuring all records are kept up to date and any activities or communication are stored within our CRM software and business package SAGE.
• Liaise with company suppliers to order & monitor stock, request quotations, arrange collections, organise deliveries, as needed
• Work as part of the team to drive positive company sales, being able to strive to meet and go above personal and team targets, goals, and quotas
• Assist accounts department with customers on security checks, accounting enquiries or flagging accounting issues raised by the customer

You must have;

• At least 2-3 years’ experience within a customer service environment.
• Experience dealing with order processing and delivery issues or queries
• Excellent at communicating over the phone and handling customers’ needs in person
• Good computer skills and experience with all Microsoft packages are a must
• Able to concentrate on multiple tasks at once with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• A solid work ethic and desire to succeed are expected with a reliable work history as standard

This is a Part-time position, which may turn into Full-time for the right Candidate.
