We are looking for an experienced and highly competent office manager to help our growing business keep on top of the varied tasks that arise in an SME.
Tasks will mainly be administrative, and hours can be flexible dependant on candidate suitability.
Based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, we are a company specialising in building regulations compliance testing and certification for new build homes. Founded in 2011, we are a small but growing company with an emphasis on being customer-focused, friendly and knowledgeable.
• Managing a schedule board of 3 full time engineers and their jobs
• Entering customer information into our CRM system
• Creating quotes and invoices
• Interacting via email and phone with customers
• Many other administrative tasks that may come up in a small office.
We are looking for a candidate with strong computer literacy skills, who can complete tasks efficiently and accurately. The role doesn’t have to be full time, and we would be happy to see candidates who, for example, want to fit a job in around the school run. However, we are also willing to discuss the role being full time for the right candidate.
We need someone with confidence, energy and above all, likeability. We pride ourselves on our customer service and want to hire someone that can communicate effectively with our customers and fit in with the rest of the team.
The level of responsibility can grow with the ambition of the candidate.
Ideally candidates will have some knowledge of construction, but this is not essential. You should have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
ALL applicants MUST be able to get to and from our office in Borehamwood and be OK with dogs.
